- be responsible to conduct independent operational audits on the selected vessels from the entire Bourbon’s fleet worldwide, including at Shipmanager’s head offices and on surfer’s bases.
- suggest recommendations to cover the identified risks and ensure the implementation of appropriate action plans.
- participate in the evaluation of risk management and operational processes.
- participate in the development of a self-assessment internal control / operational / compliance framework and develop a pooling of “best practices” in subsidiaries.
- propose audit topics and participate in the elaboration of a multi-year internal audit plan.
- participate in working groups established by the Internal Audit, Risks Director & Group Compliance Officer and special missions at the request of Management.
- Familiarity with the vetting process activities on board and ashore is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of ISM code requirements, Oil and Gas and Marine Frameworks (OVIQ, OCIMF), familiar with the content of the content of relevant International Codes and Guidelines (ISM, ISPS, MLC 2006, SOLAS, Marpol, STCW etc).
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
